Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist during procedures.

Duties:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar buildup
- Take x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems
- Follow strict infection control protocols, including practicing aseptic techniques and sterilizing instruments
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and attend continuing education courses

- Sterilize instruments

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred but not required
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including taking vital signs, assisting with CAD/CAM technology, and performing medical imaging

- Laser certified
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and medical terminology
