Seeking Dental Hygienist to join our periodontal specialty office in Seattle

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team at Periodontics Northwest! We are looking for a part- or full-time hygienist to join our team as soon as possible. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients in our specialty clinic. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings (prophy, periodontal maintenance, and SRP) and educating patients on oral hygiene practices.

Duties:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings (prophy, periodontal maintenance, and SRP)
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
- Take dental x-rays when needed.
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care to patients

Skills:
- Proficient in dental hygiene procedures.
- Ability to perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs
- Experience with Dentrix for managing patient records and scheduling appointments
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral hygiene practices and answer their questions
