Responsibilities
- Arrive to work on time
- Prepare for and participate in morning huddles
- Medical history review and new patient intake
- Disinfect and prepare treatment rooms
- Manage instruments and equipment
- Sterilize instruments
- Manage supplies and materials
- Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry
- Post completed services and next appointments to Eaglesoft for next visit
- Occasional pouring and trimming models and making whitening trays
- Monitoring/tracking lab cases, in preparation for delivery to patients
- Give post-op instructions
Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Graduation from dental assisting school
- X-ray and coronal polish license
- Basic Life Support training
