Job Description

We are looking for a dental hygienist to join our single-doctor, non-corporate dental practice. We are a growing practice and in need of additional room in our hygiene schedule. There is some flexibility in hours, but ideally we are looking for Mondays from 8am-5pm. However, we have the ability to accommodate an additional day immediately, 1 day per week (Tuesday, Thursday or Friday). We focus on developing long term relationships with patients and their familes. Hygiene appointments are 1 hour and an emphasis is put on patient education. General responsibilities include:

- General skills of RDH: Primarily perform dental prophylaxis, with some scaling and root planing. Digital radiographs (intraoral and panoramic). Oral cancer screenings. Oral hygiene instruction with personalized recommendations.
- Our patient base ranges from 1 to 100, so the ability to communicate with a variety of people is of utmost importance.
- Experience with Eaglesoft for maintaining patient records is a plus, but we can train you if you are unfamiliar.
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with the entire dental team to provide comprehensive dental care.

Requirements
- Valid New Hampshire state dental hygiene license in good standing.
- Proficiency in using dental software or willingness to learn Eaglesoft.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work well in a small team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals as we work closely with a number of specialists in the area.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, techniques and protocols.
