Job Description
We have an opening for a part time Dental Assistant who is seeking a long term position. The ideal candidate will be available Monday through Thursday. This job entails about 30 hours per week. We are looking for a responsible, friendly, and dependable individual who loves to provide excellent care for our patients. We are looking for an assistant who is very competent with 4 handed assisting and taking x-rays. The ideal candidate should be willing to help with front office functions (answering the phone, checking in patients, etc) as a secondary role as well.
We have implemented numerous COVID-19 protocols. We pre-screen all our patients over the phone and take temperature checks before entering the treatment area. We have installed HEPA/UV-C filters and Extraoral Suction Units in each operatory, plastic barriers between our receptionists and patients, placed numerous hand sanitization areas, as well as regularly wiping all handles and common areas with anti-bacterial and anti-viral wipes. We provide all our staff with N95 masks, face shields, disposable gowns, and bouffant caps. We utilize Dentrix and digital xrays.
We are a family general private practice located in the West San Jose area, nearby Saratoga Ave and 280. We have been in practice for over 30 years, so we have a long standing and loyal patient base. We treat our patients like our own family, so we treat our patients more conservatively without the need to oversell or overtreat.
