Job Description

Part-time Insurance Treatment Coordinator/Biller

Seeking an experienced, personable, enthusiastic Treatment Coordinator/Biller with a strong work ethic, Dental Billing insurance experience is a must as well as confidence in presenting treatment plans.
Part-time to start up to 20 hours per week

Responsibilities Included but not limited to:

Review insurance policies to determine coverage and eligibility.
Prepare insurance claim forms or related documents and review them for completeness.
Pre-Authorize treatment plans.
Answer phones, especially as they regard to insurance matters
Process insurance claims either by electronic submission or via US mail.
Post or attach information to dental claim files by use of basic computer applications.
Provide necessary information on patients such as x-rays, charting, narratives and documentation when requested by insurance companies to facilitate ongoing dental treatment and payment of claims.
Determine the patient’s financial responsibility by researching the patient’s insurance eligibility. Verify the percentage of payment that will be due from the patient, as well as what will be received by the insurance carrier.
Establish financial arrangements with the patients, as necessary.
