Dental Assistant needed in our dental office

Immediate position available for an intelligent, responsible, can-do-it-all dental assistant. We are looking for a skilled assistant. We are a fast growing, privately owned dental office in Scottsdale, seeking a talented & enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join us. Our office is state of the art with CBCT and CEREC. We do extractions, implant placement, and root canals in the office.

 Who We're Looking For 
-Excellent customer service
-Positive attitude and always smiling
-Team player
-Computer skills
-Knowledge of dental terminology
-Knowledge of Eaglesoft is a plus
-Equivalent to high school diploma or GED
-Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
-Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)
-X-Ray Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities
-Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
-Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
-Sterilize instruments according to regulations
-Take patient x-ray’s as needed (MUST be certified)
-Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
-Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
-Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
-Schedule appointments
-Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
