Part time Dental Hygienist needed M/W or T/TH

We are a family friendly neighborhood private practice, that provides comprehensive care. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Dental Hygienist. This position is for Monday (8:15-5PM)/Wednesday (8:15-4PM)  or  Tuesday (8:15-2PM)/Thursdays(8:15-3PM), detail oriented and true TEAM player!

Responsibilities
 • Assesses dental condition and needs of patient using patient screening procedures- takes an active role in diagnosis/TP

• Educates and motivates patients towards positive changes in their oral health.

• Updates patient's chart including change in dentition or periodontal condition, medical conditions, existing treatment, and treatment needed

• Takes digital radiographs required for diagnosis of treatment as needed.

• Keeps instruments sharpened.

• Able to take impressions for bleach trays/ clear aligners

Essential Requirements

• **Dedicated to Customer service**

• Good chairside manner

• Hygiene license for the state of Oregon with  Local anesthesia

• Nitrous certification preferred

• Current CPR certification

• Computer proficiency. Our office uses Open Dental
