Dental Assistant needed in our dental office

Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Genuine Dental is a small dental boutique. We typically see 6-8 patients per day. We perform all aspects of dentistry. Most of our lab work is done in the office. Our goal is to change how dentistry is done. We believe that our employees should have a balanced life. We understand that sometimes things just come up. Who We're Looking For 
We are seeking an assistant who can handle hard work, is self- motivated, willing to learn new techniques, and possibly trained in newer dental technology.
 
Procedures that are done in-office include but are not limited to the following:

Crowns/Veneers, Composite Fillings

Implant placement and restoration

Extractions/Bone Graft

Root canals

Knowledge of CBCT and panoramic scans are helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities

 If needed to Answer calls/ make appointments/ collect fees

- Make patients comfortable and prepare them for treatment.

- Digital Xrays, Panoramic Xrays

- Record, obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient.

- Prepare treatment rooms, tray setups for dental procedures.

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.

- Prepare materials for making impressions and restorations.

- Assist the Dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.

- Input treatment plan as Dentist presents

- Comply with office policies and procedures, safety, OSHA and MSDS guidelines.

- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

- Working knowledge of approved Dental Assistant functions.

- At least 1 year of chairside experience (School experience does not count) - X-Ray license and CPR certification

Job Type: Part-time (currently only looking for Monday-Wednesday- Fridays)
