Job Description

Our Brentwood practice is looking for an energetic and capable dental assistant. You would be responsible for providing the patient with high quality care by performing a variety of office, laboratory, and patient care duties. This usually entails helping the dentist handle patients, instruments, and supplies during the treatment of the teeth, mouth, and gums.

JOB DUTIES would include, but will not be limited to:

Building rapport and educating with patients
Taking digital x-rays
Sanitizing and Setting up treatment rooms between patients
Prepare procedure trays
Sterilization of instruments
Escorting and seating patients to and from treatment rooms
Taking impressions
Stocking of dental supplies
Light computer work with PracticeWorks
Documenting treatment, etc. in patient records

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

X-ray license/certification
Knowledge of PracticeWorks software is a plus
Willingness to learn new skills
