Dental Hygienist needed in our dental office

Duties include the following:

- Obtain medical history of patients.

- Obtain vital signs.

- Administer local anesthetics for hygiene procedures as directed by dentist.

- Complete comprehensive periodontal charting as needed.

- Administer and monitor Nitrous

- Appropriate and accurate communication and notations in Electronic Dental Record.

- Perform basic hygiene procedures including: prophylaxis, debridement, polishing, oral hygiene instructions, nutritional counseling, topical fluoride and sealant application.

- Perform advanced therapeutic procedures including scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance prophylaxis, implant maintenance.
-Proficient in obtaining radiographic surveys including full mouth series, vertical bite-wings, and panographic images using digital equipment as prescribed by a dentist.

- Proficient in the use of intra-oral cameras.

- Prepare treatment rooms for hygiene services as needed following accepted infection control standards as needed.

Requirements:

Valid NH Dental Hygienist License

Certified to administer local anesthetic

Certified to administer nitrous oxide

Certified in BLS

Full-Time

7am-5pm,Mon-Thurs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
