Caring Dental Hygienist

Position Responsibilities

· Ability to establish rapport with patients through a warm and gentle chairside manner

· Exceptionally skilled in maintaining proper safety protocols for patients and team

· Patient screening procedures, such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and taking blood pressure and pulse

· Removing calculus and plaque all surfaces of the teeth

· Applying preventive materials to the teeth and fluorides

· Educating patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling

· Highly trainable and comfortable with new information and technology; prior experience with Spear Education a plus

· Focused on developing professionally within our practice vision; committed to providing an unprecedented level of care to patients

· Other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role, you will be required to have:

· Associate or advanced degree in Dental Hygiene

· Current State certification/license as required for Colorado

· Invisalign experience a plus

· Knowledge of Dentrix, or similar software

This is a full-time opportunity, with patient care Mon-Thur, 7am-3:30pm. No nights or weekends. We offer a competitive wage and generous benefit package that includes vacation, holidays, 401k and continuing education.
