We are a thriving cosmetic and established family practice in South San Jose that has been serving the community for 12 years. Our mission is to provide stellar patient experience. As well as being a fun and welcoming environment for all team members. We value their opinions and understand the importance of work life balance. We are seeking a team orientated and patient focused individual as Part-Time RDH Monday and Tuesdays, and occasional Saturdays however is not required. Potential days could be added as the department grows.
As a Dental Hygienist, you will:
- Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planning, debridement and apply fluoride and sealants.
- Evaluate overall health and educate patients on preventive care, outcomes and oral hygiene.
- Maintain patient electronic dental records.
- Take diagnostically acceptable digital radiographs.
- Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, charting, referral, implants, periodontal program, caries risk assessment and emergency treatment.
- Stock required supplies and maintain equipment.
Required Skills:
Professional candidates with a current state dental hygiene license and a minimum of one year hygiene experience should consider this opportunity. Team players with the ability to multitask who have strong communication, computer and customer service skills desired.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
COVID-19 considerations:
All patients and staff are still required to wear masks. We send out daily covid screening forms to patients for the following days appointments and temperature checks done for all patients.
