Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

We are a Private Family Practice open Mon-Thur with an occasional Friday a month. We offer an incredible benefit package w/ 401k, medical,dental ect.

An assistant with flexibility that is able to float working front and back office with x-ray certification.

Who We're Looking For
An assistant with flexibility that is able to float working front and back office with x-ray certification.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain client’s dental records
- Assist the dentist or the dental hygienist with complex dental procedures
- Schedule patient appointments
- Take billing and insurance details from patients
- Customer service skills to ensure patients feel comfortable during their appointment as well as well-informed about treatment and dental wellness
- Technical and troubleshooting skills to work with a variety of dental scheduling and other organization software in the office using dentrix
- Organization skills - to keep their workspace clean to ensure patients, dentists and other assistants are safe and healthy while working
- Knowledge of dental instruments
- Prior experience in dental X-rays
- Over seeing pt check in/out procedures
- Scheduling referral appointments for patient's
- General office administration
- Ability to multitask and solve problems
- Preparing patients for procedures and or surgeries
- Assisting in all dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, impressions, sterilization post-procedure clean up and set up,ect
