Job Description

Private Practice led by one doctor/owner that is dedicated to changing lives through Dentistry. Our team encompasses pride, hard work and the focus on great customer service. We thrive to achieve the highest quality of patient satisfaction, great dental service and care.

The perfect addition to our Team would be: dental experienced, self motivated, reliable and dependable.

Located in Peoria/Sun City, our private practice is a state of the art facility complete with a dental specific PM system, Digital X-rays, lasers, CBCT 3D scan for implants, All on 4 cases, and an intraoral scanner.

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain patient relationships for dental care
Chairside assisting (through 4-handed dentistry)
Coronal Polishing
Knowledge and Experience taking all Digital X-Rays
Through rapport, prepare patients for every stage of TX ensuring comfort
Select/set-up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to OSHA regulations
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene instructions and TX post-operative care instructions
Maintain the sterile/lab area and keep well-stocked (inventory orders)

Skills:

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - Surgical experience preferred
Knowledge of dental instruments, their uses and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations through OSHA
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing
Competent computer skills
Excellent communication skills with patients/team members
Attention to detail, attentiveness to organization
Dependable, proficient and reliable
Highschool Diploma; graduation from dental assisting school is preferred
Additional certification or training is an additional asset

Qualifications:

Prior dental office experience highly preferred (2 years minimum)
