Who we are: We are a 100% fee for service/out of network dental practice. We prioritize the patient's needs and
the collective team atmosphere. We schedule hygiene patients for 1.5 hours, but may sometimes schedule 1
hour, depending on the patient. The doctor is uniquely qualified in general dentistry with a functional and
biomimetic approach, TMJ and occlusion medicine, and is also a periodontist! The goal of the practice is to
transition to a function-first, airway-aware approach, place heavy encouragement and emphasis on prevention,
and retain the natural dentition for as long as possible.
Technology: We are willing to train, but previous experience is a plus.
- We use the GBT protocol and EMS dental hygiene system to deliver exceptional preventative care to our patients.
- Planmeca VISO G7 for PANO and CBCT imaging
- Planmeca digital sensors for intraoral radiographs
- TRIOS intraoral scanner
- Open Dental software
Who we are looking for: We are looking for a full-time or part-time hygienist to join our team. Ideal schedule
would be Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 PM for full-time. However, we are flexible and willing to discuss alternatives.
Education: Must have attended an accredited dental hygiene program and have an active Texas dental hygiene
license. New grads waiting for their hygiene license are eligible to apply as well.
Certifications: Required: BLS certified; Ideal candidate would also have ACLS certification and nitrous
certification.
Experience: Ideal candidate would have 2+ years of experience, however we are also considering new grads if
the fit is right.
Personality: Compassionate and kind, exhibits outstanding chairside manner, team player, organized, willing to
learn and adapt to operational changes as we transition, collaborative, fosters positive interactions and team
wellness.
What you would be responsible for:
- First, and foremost, provide ethical and compassionate care with kindness.
- Exhibit outstanding customer service and hospitality.
- Perform thorough prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing.
- Record/update patient health history and all required information, such as vitals, dental charting,
periodontal charting, radiographs, etc. - Assist in continuing care scheduling, operatory disinfection, and instrument maintenance and
sterilization. - Give oral hygiene instructions and demonstrations to all patients.
- Be open to learning about function-focused, airway dentistry, biomimetics, and occlusion medicine.
- Be willing to learn new techniques and technologies to improve patient care
- Must show willingness and ability to foster a team environment by displaying a willing attitude to assist
all others in completing office tasks.
