Summit Aesthethics - Oral/Maxillofacial and Aesthetic Medspa is searching for a full-time Assistant to add to our North Scottsdale team! We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, personable individual who is highly motivated with effective oral and written communication skills. The ideal candidate would provide our practice with a positive attitude while assisting in a variety of surgical procedures under the direct supervision of our skilled surgeons.
Duties:
Assist Maxillorfacial + Oral + Cosmetic surgeon during surgical procedures
Seat patient, medical history intake and vitals
Set-up operating suite and ensure that instruments, supplies and equipment are properly sterilized, assembled and immediately available for patient care
Prepare patient for surgery, move to surgical suite, proper positioning of patient for surgery
Prepare lab specimens
Set-up and breakdown for each patient encounter
Clean and prepare the operating suite for each surgery
Explain recommendations and discuss pre and post-operative instructions with patient
Proper sterilization techniques
Maintain HIPPA compliance
Perform other related duties as required
Maintain established company policies, procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards appropriate to this position
Minimum qualifications:

Education: Certificate or Degree in Surgical Technology, Medical or Dental Assisting
