Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team. We are a general practice located in Mesa, AZ

Who We're Looking For
A chairside DA with an interest to grow and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Preparing patients for dental work.
Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up trays, preparing material, and assisting with dental procedures.
Assisting dentists in managing medical and treatment emergencies when necessary.
Providing excellent patient care.
The recording of treatment information in patient records.
Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for x-ray equipment
Educating patients on dental hygiene, oral health, and plaque control programs.
Collecting and recording medical and dental history.
Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
To be successful in this position you will need
- Certification or associates degree in an accredited dental assisting program
- 1-3 years of experience working in a dental practice
- Excellent, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills
