Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Who We Are:

We are a new (less than 1 year old), small dental office located in Scottsdale, Arizona. We are looking to grow the office substantially and are looking for the right team member to add to our team to do so. 

Job Qualifications:

• Education: Post-secondary certificate from an accredited dental assistant program
• Coronal polishing certification
• X-ray certification
• BLS certification
• Experience: willing to train the right person, but must have a "Can Do Attitude." Would prefer 2+ years of experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepares patient, sterilizes & disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, prepares materials, and assists dentist during dental procedures.
• Records treatment information in patient records.
• Exposes dental diagnostic x-rays.
• Takes and records patients medical and dental histories and vital signs.
• Assists dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies.
• Provides postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist.
• Orders and monitors dental supplies and equipment inventory.
• Fabricates temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Makes preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
• Pours, trims, and polishes study casts.
• Cleans and polishes removable appliances.
• Cleans back office
• Ideal candidate has experience assisting with endodontic procedures, surgical procedures, making temporary crowns, and is able to build rapport with patients.
