We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing high-quality oral healthcare to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth dental procedures and patient satisfaction.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop X-rays, must be X-ray certified- Maintain accurate patient records using software
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Manage inventory and supplies in the dental office
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of electronic health records system is a plus
