Dental Assistant Wanted

Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team. 

Who We Are
Hollywood Smile Dental is a dedicated and energetic dental team committed to working with our patients to create a positive dental experience. Each member of our team maintains the highest levels of accreditation and pursues ongoing education to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the dental field. Hours of operation are Monday and Wednesday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Fridays 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Additionally we are open every last Tuesday of the month from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for oral surgery patients.

Who We're Looking For 
The ideal candidate will excel at customer service skills, positive teamwork attitude, initiative, adaptableness, and confidentiality. Additionally we are looking for the following:
·         At least 1-year experience in four-handed dentistry

·         Experience with digital x-rays and Panorex/CT Scan machine preferred

·         Speak, read, and write Spanish and English fluently

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Willing to work a part-time position and willing to transition from part-time to full-time

·         Dentrix knowledgeable preferred

·         Some experience with front desk preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities
You must be capable of being on your feet throughout the day. Duties would include review of medical history for each patient, welcoming and seating patients, sterilization of dental instruments, disinfecting treatment rooms and maintaining general office cleanliness, taking digital x-rays, CT scans, Panorex, intra-oral photographs as well as assisting doctors in direct patient care.
