Dental Hygienist needed in our dental office

Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional dental hygienist for an opportunity to join our dedicated team. 

Who We Are
We are a general practice in Santa Clarita looking for a Dental Hygienist starting 2 days a week Tuesdays and  Wednesdays  to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. We are a Private  office, open since 2008, we have great patients and a great working environment. Pay will depend on attitude, enthusiasm and experience. If you have a set daily rate in mind please feel free to include your requested amount or range on your resume!

Who We're Looking For
A hygienist that  kind, dependable, and a good team-player.
Preferred over 1 year experience and Dentrix knowledgeable.


Responsibilities
• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
• Take x-rays (as needed) 
• Sterilize dental instruments properly (as needed) 
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
• Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
