Our dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.
Who We Are
We are a team of three dentists, one part-time assistant and one part-time receptionist that are dedicated to providing the best quality care to our patients. We constantly push ourselves to learn more and become better providers. Our focus is on digital, cosmetic, and special care dentistry - however, we see patients of all ages and do most procedures in our office including wisdom teeth extractions, molar root canals, and implants.
Our office is drama-free and so are our patients, so any addition to the team has to be the right fit personality-wise. Since we are a start-up office, it is not the fastest-paced office, but we are growing busier and you would normally be responsible for two columns of patients.
Technology/software in our office include:
- OpenDental
- Weave
- EzDent-i
- 3Shape (Trios 5)
- CBCT
- GentleWave
Who We're Looking For
Our team is looking to add a full-time dental assistant that has some experience with digital, special care and/or pediatric dentistry. Regardless of experience, we will train the right candidate and are willing to invest in your growth & development as an assistant, including paying for any necessary classes to get/maintain a RDA license as well as the annual CDA convention. The most important qualities we are looking for are:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Motivated and willingness to learn
- Ability to take initiative to complete tasks, even without supervision or instruction from doctors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (professional chairside manner)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Patience with special needs patients
Compensation will be decided based on experience and can be negotiated further after a training period (90 days). If you are crosstrained for front office responsibilities, this will be accounted for during compensation negotiations.
