Job Type: Part-Time

Office Hours:

• Monday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: As needed
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday: Closed

About Us: CJ Dentistry is a patient-focused dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care. We pride ourselves on our friendly and professional environment, and we are looking for a dedicated Insurance Verification Specialist who also has Dental Assisting experience to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Manage patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve coverage issues
• Update patient records with accurate insurance information
• Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
• Utilize Dentrix office software for record-keeping and verification tasks
• Assist the dentist during procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take dental X-rays
• Coronal Polish 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in insurance verification or a similar role preferred
• Proficiency with Dentrix office software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Cross-trained dental assistant experience is plus.
