We are looking to hire a Dental Hygienist for our growing dental practice. Fiori Dental has been providing family, cosmetic, and preventive dentistry to the San Mateo area for years. Our office is a fun-loving environment that creates a festive, positive, and warm atmosphere for not only our patients but also for our staff. We consider staff to be family, and we throw periodic activities to reward and inspire all of our members. We are looking for a positive individual who want to join a team of like-minded individuals. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to provide high level patient care. We are offering both full and part time positions. The full time position comes with benefits.
Position requirements
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and skills
- Comfortable using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Knowledgeable about oral hygiene and dental health.
- Educate patients about good oral hygiene including plaque control and postoperative instructions
- Maintain clean and safe working environment by complying with regulations, rules, and procedures
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Hygiene program.
- State hygiene license.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Current on Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Ability to administer local anesthetic agents.
- Ability to use an x-ray machine as well as digital x-rays.
