Job Summary Critical member of the dental health team dedicated to cheerfully ensuring a safe and positive patient experience, increasing efficiency of the dentist, and improving the team through effective communication and teamwork. Eligible for performance-based incentive after waiting period. Typical schedule: Monday through Thursday with some Fridays. Responsibilities and Duties (abbreviated) Smile and laugh easily Highly organized Comfortably prepare patient for treatment maintaining the warm and caring environment explained in our Mission Statement Create and maintain excellent patient and chart notes Perform coronal polishing, radiographs, sealants, fluoride applications, assist hygienists as available Understand dental procedures sufficiently to effectively coordinate clinical efforts to maintain patient schedule Educate patients in wide variety of dental and overall health topics Take impressions; pour, trim, and polish study models Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and Infection Control policies and standards including instrument sterilization and logs Maintain dental supply inventory Perform routine equipment maintenance Qualifications and Skills (abbreviated) Warm and caring attitude and personality to help patients feel comfortable Skilled in use of standard dental equipment Comfortable and effective using Eaglesoft practice management software Fluent in spoken and written English Education minimum: High School diploma or equivalent, BLS (CPR and AED) certified, current with vaccines and immunizations Physical and Environmental Requirements (abbreviated): Cheerful in a fast-paced, high energy and at times high anxiety environment Lift up to 20 pounds Excellent hand eye coordination for detailed work with objects Must be able to move throughout the day: sitting, standing, walking, squatting, bending, stooping, reaching, etc. Vision requirements including close, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus Benefits World-class patients!
