We are a thriving general private practice in search of an experienced dental hygienist to add to our work family. Required hours are Monday-Wednesday 7:00am-3:00pm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting and seating patients
- Taking digital X-rays as needed
- Periodontal probing
- Reviewing med hx with all patients
- Adult and Child Prophylaxis, Periodontal Maintenance, FMD, SRP's
- Fluoride application
- Sealant placement
- Co-diagnosing and reinforcing treatment recommended by doctor
- Diagnosing periodontal disease and educating patients on the disease process
- Entering treatment plans into computer
- Entering existing restorations into computer
- Assisting doctor with exams
- Communicating effectively with front office staff
- Setting up and tearing down operatory
- Sterilizing hygiene instruments
- Restocking operatory
- Sanitizing operatory
- Dismissing patients and reinforcing importance of next recall
- Reviewing charts in preparation for next day's patients
- End of day clean-up (taking out garbages, turning off equipment, preparing operatory for next day)

- Tech savvy (preferably with Macs)
