Who We're Looking For

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental office setting

• Diploma in Dental Hygiene

• Valid dental hygiene license to practice

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mouth screenings with probing and check oral health history.
• Removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth.
• Scaling and root planing.
• Polishing teeth for a smooth and healthy appearance. 
• Applying preventive materials to the teeth like sealants, and fluorides.
• Laser bacterial reduction.
• Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health, tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
• Maintaining and sterilizing dental instruments to ensure patient safety.
• Take X-rays.
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient.
• Work closely with our dentists to provide comprehensive oral healthcare. 
• Monitor supplies.
