Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our growing dental practice. Position open to Thursdays from 11am-8pm. 5 year experience minimum. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and will possess a comprehensive understanding of various dental procedures. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional patient experiences while maintaining the highest standards of dental practice.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Execute a variety of dental procedures including, but not limited to, general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and infection control.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide efficient patient care.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
Skills
Proficiency in prosthodontics and general dentistry practices.
Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
Experience with dental extractions and related procedures.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Knowledge of Dentrix software for managing patient records effectively.
Experience in pediatrics is a plus, enhancing the ability to treat younger patients compassionately.
Solid understanding of anatomy as it relates to dental health.
Ability to maintain meticulous medical records and documentation for compliance with regulations.
