Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Relaxed atmosphere Safe work environment The ideal candidate for this position has a degree in dental hygiene and a background in taking x-rays. The successful candidate will have an interest in continuing their education, and will be able to effectively use intraoral cameras and dental software. The Hygienist will be responsible for performing dental cleanings and educating patients on how to improve their overall oral health, including tips for flossing and daily brushing. Responsibilities: Provide safe and effective noninvasive treatment for patients including routine dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance as well as non-surgical periodontal therapy(scaling/root planning). Take X-rays. Sterilize dental instruments. Clean and sterilize rooms. Maintain and complete accurate progress notes. Assist doctor during dental exam. Educate patients on the importance of preventive care. Schedule patients next treatment before leaving the office.
