This position requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and conducting oral examinations. Provide preventative dental care by cleaning teeth, applying sealants, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments and progress. Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure efficient workflow during procedures. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance patient comfort and improve efficiency during treatments. Educate patients about pediatric dentistry practices when applicable, ensuring children receive appropriate care. Stay updated on the latest dental technologies and practices to provide the best care possible. Experience A valid Dental Hygienist license is required. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical coding and systems related to dental practice management is a plus. Experience in assisting with various dental procedures will be beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages are essential.
