Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and performing various dental procedures. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options and oral health education Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide optimal patient care Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution Valid state dental license to practice dentistry Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with familiarity with pediatric patient care practices Ability to perform medical imaging as required for diagnosis and treatment planning Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care Join our dedicated team where you can make a meaningful impact on the oral health of our community while advancing your career in a supportive environment.
