Dental Hygienist PRN - Softnice Inc - Alpharetta, GA

Job Summary: Work together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of the patient. Provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Handles a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations. These duties range in complexity and skill, and all aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members. Essential Functions: -GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation may be required. -Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work. -Apply fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. -Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease. -Record and review patient medical histories. -Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA. -Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. -Order and keep track of inventory as needed. -Other duties as assigned.
