Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a strong foundation in various dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. This role requires proficiency in dental terminology, medical documentation, and adherence to HIPAA regulations. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine oral health needs and treatment plans. Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including familiarity with software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and medical records management is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
