Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service while managing administrative tasks within a busy dental practice. This role requires proficiency in dental software systems, as well as a strong understanding of Dental terminology and billing processes. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure timely service. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before filing. Manage dental billing and coding, including CPT and ICD-10 coding. Utilize DPMS systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, and Curve Dental, for practice management. Assist with clerical tasks including filing, typing, and maintaining office supplies. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception area. Skills Active Licensed Registered Dental Assistant with Texas State Dental Board. Proficient in Dental administrative support with experience in a dental office setting. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, and health information management. Familiarity with EHR systems and Dental coding practices (ICD-9, ICD-10). Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and multi-line phone systems. Bilingual abilities (English & Spanish) are a plus to enhance patient communication. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
