Job Title: Dental Assistant Location: Smyrna, DE Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Assistant to join our team in Smyrna. The successful candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to our dental team and ensure the smooth operation of our dental office. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and other materials Prepare patients for dental treatment by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort Take and process dental X-rays and maintain patient records Perform basic lab procedures, including the creation of dental impressions and temporary crowns Sterilize dental instruments and equipment Provide post-operative instructions and advice to patients Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records Assist with other administrative duties as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent on-the-job training Certification in dental radiology Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including dental insurance, 401(k), 4 day work weeks, and a friendly and supportive work environment.
