Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Crystal Lake, IL
Route 14 Dentistry is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team in Crystal Lake, IL! We are looking for a part time Hygienist to work Wednesdays 2pm-7pm and Fridays 9am-6pm. Responsibilities: Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies, charting conditions of decay and disease, and performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. Provide patients with instructions on how to maintain good oral health habits. Clean and maintain dental equipment and instruments. Maintain instruments for dental hygiene by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments. Completes dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and from beneath gum margins. Detects disease by completing oral cancer screening: feeling and visually examining gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession. Documents dental hygiene services by recording vital signs and medical and dental histories and charting in patient records. Qualifications: Dentrix experience is a plus Valid dental hygiene license 1 years of experience as an Dental Hygienist in a dental office or clinic Current BLS certification preferred (ECHR, BLS, ACLS) Current CPR certification preferred (BLS, EKG, etc.) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
