About the Position: Serenity Dental and Orthodontics is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team in Munster, IN . In this role, you'll be a key part of delivering excellent care by supporting our dentists chairside, maintaining a clean and organized clinical space, and ensuring our patients feel at ease throughout their visit. Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control standards Assist dentists chairside during a wide range of dental and orthodontic procedures Capture digital x-rays and impressions when needed Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment Accurately manage and update patient records Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care guidance Support inventory management and general office tasks Maintain a clean, efficient, and welcoming clinical environment Qualifications: Completion of a Dental Assisting program or equivalent experience REQUIRED CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) REQUIRED X-ray certification in the state of IN REQUIRED Strong communication and patient service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus Positive, team-oriented attitude with a professional demeanor Job Details: Location: Munster, IN Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (flexible scheduling available) Benefits Include: 401(k) Paid time off (PTO) Dental benefits On-the-job training Opportunities for professional development Work Environment: In-person, team-oriented dental and orthodontic practice Supportive and patient-focused culture If you're passionate about dental care and love helping people feel their best, we'd love to hear from you!
