Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Coronal polishing as part of dental prophylaxis as primary focus Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials a Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards. Record patient records using Dentrix software. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Support pediatric dentistry procedures by creating a comfortable atmosphere for young patients. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and assisting with dental receptionist duties when required. Maintain knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in various procedures effectively. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with Dentrix software is advantageous. Knowledge of general dentistry practices, pediatric dentistry, and infection control measures is essential. Understanding of vital signs monitoring and basic anatomy knowledge is beneficial for patient care.
