Postion Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, experience Dental Assistant in both english and spanish to join our full-time team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of dental experience and the ability to hit the ground running. If you're commited, bilingual and ready for an immediate opening, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
As our Dental Assistant you will:
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures, providing efficent and professional chair-side support
- Prepare patients for treatment (greeting, seating, draping, explaining procedure)
- Sterilize. organize, and maintain dental instruments and treatment rooms in compliance with infection-contorl protocols
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-procedure care, and overall dental health
- Perform administrative tasks as needed (charting, scheduling support, patient communications)
- Fabricate temporary crowns, take impressions, and help with related lab/clinical tasks
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth, patient focused workflow in a fast-paced enviorment
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting
- Bilingual: English & Spanish fluency (both verbal and written)
- Valid dental assisitng certification (state-appropiate)
- X-ray certificaiton, if required by state/office
- Excellente interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced enviroment and managing multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively with the dental team
