Registered Dental Hygienist â Smile Crafters Smile Crafters is seeking a dedicated, upbeat, and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our energetic and growing private practice! Weâre looking for someone who is passionate about dentistry, excited to motivate patients, and eager to help them build strong lifelong oral hygiene habits. We pride ourselves on utilizing the latest technologyâincluding CEREC scanning, a 3D printer, and same-day crowns âto provide the highest quality of care. In this role, you will work closely with Dr. Smith and our dental team to deliver exceptional preventive care and patient education. Schedule: Our office is open MondayâFriday . This position offers 3 days per week , with potential for additional days as the practice continues to grow. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy for patients of all ages Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify potential concerns Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the value of routine dental visits Maintain aseptic and sterile technique throughout all procedures Take dental imaging as needed and accurately document findings Maintain detailed patient records using Dentrix Ascend Administer local anesthesia when required Assist with dental coding and insurance documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance Support the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile operatory environment Document treatment plans, progress notes, and other patient information in Dentrix Ascend Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care Qualifications Valid Arizona Dental Hygiene License Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program Proficiency in (or willingness to learn) Dentrix Ascend Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Confident in patient education and answering oral-health-related questions Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to exceptional patient care Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
