A great opportunity awaits you to join us as a pediatric dental assistant at Bay View Pediatric Dentistry located in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. We are looking for a happy and motivated team player to join us in providing high quality dental services to children age 1 and up. We are open Tuesday through Friday from 8:45am-5:45pm and Saturday from 8:45am-3:30pm. Description of Duties: Provide chair side assistance to the dental provider during examination and treatment of patients Prepare patient and operatory for procedures by having all materials ready Sterilize and perform infection control per OSHA guidelines Take digital radiographs and process, mount the films Take impressions and pour models Provide post-op instructions for patients Maintain orderly, well stocked and clean treatment room Education/Experience Required Dental Assistant Certificate OR min 2 years of experience working as a dental assistant (any type) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
