Dental Hygienist (Maternity Leave Coverage - West LA/Santa Monica)

Location: Santa Monica Dental Care, 12209 Santa Monica Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90025

Position Type: Temporary, Part-Time (December 2, 2025 – mid-June 2026)

Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (8-hour days)

We are a fun and friendly, patient-focused general dental practice in West Los Angeles seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to cover for our resident hygienist during maternity leave. Our practice has one dentist and a loyal patient base, and we pride ourselves on providing high-quality care in a warm, relaxed environment.

Position Details:

• Temporary coverage from December 2, 2025 through approximately mid-June 2026

• 3 days per week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (8-hour days)

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • Wednesdays from 8:30am - 5:30pm

• Established hygiene schedule with supportive staff and patients who value preventive care

Requirements:

• Current California RDH license

• Current X-ray certification
• At least 3 years of experience working in a professional dental office as a Dental Hygienist

• Excellent communication and patient care skills

• Commitment to thorough, gentle, and efficient hygiene care

• Experience with digital charting and radiography preferred

Compensation: $65-$70, depending on experience.
