Hygienist - Dental Nook - Colorado Springs, CO

I am a dentist that is trying to make a difference in the dental community. I want to create several dental offices that have a culture and environment that truly cares about the people who make the place work. Without our front office people, assistants, dentists and especially dental hygienists, we CANNOT give our patients the best care they deserve. Believe me, I have been in the offices where the dentist does the 5 minute cleaning, or the 20 minute SRP and says, you’re good to go. I know that that is not best for the patient. My love for the Dental Hygienists comes through with how we treat each other. I have bought each of my hygienists their own specific instruments that they like to use, as well as cassettes to take care of those instruments. We give our hygienists full autonomy on how they would treat the patient (no forced bloody prophy's “because that is what insurance will cover”). We pay our hygienists well. We also have all the benefits that one would request. All in all, we have a culture of respect, kindness, honesty, and agape love.
