Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. This is a part-time position for Wednesdays at our Rancho Cucamonga office. Experience Prior experience in Orthodontic dental assisting Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging including X-ray procedures Certification in dental assisting or relevant training in chairside assisting is desirable Duties Provide chairside assistance to the Orthodontist Perform adjustments, bonding and delivering of appliances as needed on patients. Take dental x-rays and intraoral photos. Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout their treatment. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and appliance care. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and chart patient progress. Manage inventory and stock supplies for treatment areas. Perform other back office duties as assigned.
