Overview of the Office: Our office is growing and we are looking for a friendly, positive hygienist to join our dental team! 2-4 days a week, days are flexible. Our office is located about 5 minutes East of Oakbrook mall. There is also a potential to earn a monthly bonus, along with our competitive hourly wage. You will also have an assistant to help with x rays and turn over rooms. A hygienist is a a critical role in a dental clinic and we are looking for one that is compassionate and skilled! We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. You’ll help dentists decide treatments for teeth or gum diseases and handle dental emergencies. If you have a steady hand and great bedside manner, we’d like to meet you. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Skills In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Valid license to practice Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $58.00 - $70.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
