What you’ll do Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients of all ages. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Utilize Eaglesoft and Dentrix software for accurate patient documentation and record-keeping. Conduct vital signs checks and medical imaging as needed to support comprehensive patient evaluations. Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Review medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Basic qualifications Valid dental hygiene license in your state of practice or able to obtain. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with chairside assisting techniques to support the dental team effectively.
