Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. Youâll be at the forefront of ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience for our patients while assisting in various dental procedures. Your expertise will shine as you utilize your skills in chairside assisting, medical documentation, and infection control to create a safe and comfortable environment. Excellent English and verbal skills and absolute must. What youâll do Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit, including vital signs and medical history. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and post-operative care. Utilize Eaglesoft for efficient patient management and scheduling. Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic qualifications Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures is essential. Restorative, crown and bridge experience a MUST Preferred qualifications Experience with digital and CBCT and 3D scanners is highly desirable. Familiarity with, endodontics, general dentistry, implants and surgery practices is a plus. Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental clinic setting is advantageous. Understanding of medical coding and documentation practices will enhance your candidacy.
