Position Overview The Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in our office by providing high-quality preventive and therapeutic care, fostering strong patient relationships, and supporting our doctors and team in delivering a top-tier patient experience. Key Responsibilities Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance procedures Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting Take and evaluate digital radiographs and intraoral images Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and overall health connections Review patient medical and dental histories; document findings in the electronic health record Assist in diagnosis by collaborating with the dentist during exams Apply sealants, fluoride, and other preventive materials as indicated Maintain a clean, organized, and sterilized operatory following OSHA and infection control standards Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure seamless patient flow and care coordination Qualifications Current Illinois Dental Hygienist license Current CPR certification Strong clinical and communication skills A positive, team-oriented attitude and passion for patient care Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software preferred Schedule & Compensation Full-time position (4–5 days per week) Competitive hourly rate based on experience Benefits package may include paid time off, health insurance options, and performance-based bonuses Why You’ll Love Working Here At 32 Village Dental, you’ll join a supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration, growth, and patient-centered care.
