Dental Office Assistant Apprenticeship (paid) - Community Health Center of Buffalo - Buffalo, NY

Healthcare careers are in demand – and there's a need for highly trained and skilled Dental Office Assistants to enter the workforce. Students will receive on-the-job training to prepare for employment as Dental Office Assistants. The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. and the SUNY Erie Workforce Development Department will provide online and in-person classroom instruction (non-credit professional development training). Administrative and clinical topics include equipment safety operating practices, occupational health and safety techniques, sterilization, basic dental anatomy, basic radiography imaging, patient communication skills, and more. Program Details: One-year of paid training. Classroom, online, and chairside training for apprentices. Learning materials are provided cost-free. $15.75/hour on-the-job training.
